With more than 20 years of experience in personal care research and development, Teresa Fleming is an outcome-driven formulation leader who is known for bringing innovative, high performing products to global markets. Based in Miami Florida, Teresa currently serves as Director of Innovation and Research for Bell International Labs, leading a team of nine professional scientists spanning a wide range of technical expertise.
Committed to innovation and continuous improvement, Teresa brings a strong critical-thinking mindset and passion for personal care formulation and accelerating the growth of brands in their respective space. Teresa also has a passion for volunteering with the Society of Cosmetic Chemists. Within the Florida chapter, she has held the positions of Chair (2024-2025), Chair-Elect (2022-2023), Treasurer (2008 – 2013) and will step into the National SCC Role of Area IV Director in 2026. As FLSCC Chair, Teresa also chaired the highly successful 2025 Sunscreen SymposiumTM, the premier global educational event for professionals dedicated to sun care science and formulation.
