Eagan, Mn – 10 February 2026 – Bell International Laboratories, Inc., a leading contract manufacturer specializing in sun care, skin care, and personal care products, announced today that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has lifted the Warning Letter originally issued on February 15, 2024.
Following an extensive, proactive, and collaborative process with the FDA, the company has successfully remediated cGMP concerns related to its Eagan, Minnesota manufacturing facility. The FDA’s closure of the Warning Letter indicates that the agency is satisfied with the comprehensive improvements made to Bell’s quality management systems, laboratory controls, and production processes.
“The health and safety of consumers have always been our top priority,” said Paul C. Eichholz, MSJ, Vice President of Quality and Regulatory Compliance at Bell International Laboratories. “We took the FDA’s findings seriously and viewed this as an opportunity to raise our standards even higher. This lifting of the Warning Letter is a testament to the hard work of our entire team, who have implemented enhanced quality systems to ensure our products consistently meet or exceed regulatory requirements.”
Key enhancements implemented by Bell include:
- Strengthened Quality Unit: Increased oversight and training for quality control personnel.
- Laboratory Upgrades: Improved rigorous testing protocols for all components and finished goods.
- Process Improvements: Enhanced adherence to Current Good Manufacturing Practices (CGMP) and strengthened data integrity controls.
With this matter resolved, Bell International Laboratories continues to focus on providing high-quality, innovative, and compliant manufacturing solutions to its partners in the OTC and personal care industries.
