• Lead set up and changeover functions within Bell Lab production.

• Work on processes to improve production efficiencies and reduce high scrap rates.

• Research problems with equipment and tooling and take corrective actions.

• Trouble shoot process issues in the manufacturing and consult with maintenance for solutions to the problems.

• Recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

• Perform daily rounds and checks at each production line.

• Have a good knowledge of all machines and their functions.

• Perform minor maintenance and repairs.

• Maintain good communications with Quality Control Department to insure quality products are produced on your shift and at the start up.

• Report problems, needs, and equipment breakdowns to your supervisor so it can be corrected.

• Spend adequate time before and after each shift to insure all information is properly passed onto oncoming shifts.

• Follow all safety rules put forth by the company safety policies.

• All other duties as assigned by your shift supervisor or management.


• High School Diploma or GED.

• Must have six months to one year as a set up technician or equivalent training

• Ability to operate equipment and tools used in machinery pre-delivery and set up processes

• Ability to assemble machinery components and to follow manufacturer’s instructions
